You will be amazed at the realistic details on this hand-poured soap.  This unique soap is a creamy, mild goat milk soap scented in Ocean, which is a clean, crisp, fresh scent.  Each soap is then given color details with a skin-safe shading technique.  No two will be exactly alike—as no two shells you would find on the beach would be exactly alike. 

Throughout the years on Pawleys Island, I collected many of these shells and can remember the adults using them to hold trinkets and other items when I was a child.  Very few houses were without a few of these beautiful shells on tables, mantles, and shelves.  Winyah Candle and Bath is pleased to offer you this beautiful creation as a soap.

The Atlantic Giant Cockle is the most common cockle found in the Carolinas.  This large and sturdy shell can grow up to 5 inches in length and is creamy white to tan in color, although some have dark, reddish-brown spots.  Cockles are found living in shallow water to water that is 100 feet deep.  We still find them on the beach on Pawleys Island.  This species is 65 million years old and are found in large numbers on some beaches in the Carolinas.  Cockles are eaten in European countries and also used in chowder in the United States.
